Washcloths and Scrubbies

I've been in the mood to knit quick projects this week. I have many long term WIPs and needed the satisfaction of completing something. So here is the results. The variegated yarns are I Love This Cotton from Hobby Lobby. It is very soft, but I have found a cotton yarn that is softer. Knit Picks Comfy cotton is the softest cotton yarn I've ever felt. The solids cloths are Knit Picks Comfy in worsted weight.  I love them all :-)

I purchased this lantern from Hobby Lobby and I gave it a more Bohemian vibe.

Wavy Scarf

Manitou Passage Scarf
So I found this yarn, Loops & Threads Payette, at Michael's and couldn't resist buying it. I wasn't sure what to make with at first. Then I found this pattern, Manitou Passage Scarf, on Ravelry and thought it would be perfect. I LOVE how it is turning out.

I have decided to enter the Ravelympics2012 on Ravelry.com. I am going to challenge myself to knit 34 hexipuffs for my Beekeeper's Quilt.

Glamorous Furry Scarf

This is my version of a pattern that I found on LionBrand.com

The entire scarf is knitted while holding two strands together.

I made this using Louisa Harding Grace yarn in dark chocolate and tan. I also used Louisa Harding ribbon in pink, brown, and ecru. The furry yarns are Sizzle Bright in moonstone and Smash Irisee in mahagony.

All of these yarns are luxurious and soft. I love my new scarf.

Father's Day Card

I made this card using my Cricut Imagine and white card stock. The golf bag is from the Wrap It Up cartridge, I used patterns from the Country Carnival cartridge. The grass is from the Easter cartridge and the sun is a layer from Kate's Kitchen. I am really enjoying my new Cricut Imagine and making wonderful cards and home decor items just using white card stock.

Birthday Card for my Husband

I recently purchased the Cricut Imagine and could not wait to make something with it. So, I made my hubby a birthday card. The cool part is that I used a regular Cricut cartridge (Wrap it Up), and added some of the pattern designs from some of my Cricut Imagine cartridges. I used all white paper to make this card.
